Tasting Notes

This traditional Burgundian style Pinot Noir has classic strawberry and blueberry nuances that balance beautifully with an earthy oak spice. The lush flavours, bright acidity and fine tannins are exceptionally balanced and will enhance a broad range of food. Pairs well with grilled salmon, lamb and pork and medium aged cheeses.

Ageing: This wine can be enjoyed now and will continue to develop in 2-5 years.

Technical Notes

The Pinot Noir was harvested in late September exclusively from the immaculate vineyards of Château des Charmes in picturesque Niagara-on-the-Lake. Small batch fermentation with hand punchdown of the cap performed 3 times daily, was followed by 8 months barrel ageing in the combination of new and mature French oak.
